From these initial meetings, a Project Scope is developed which will clearly outline the required components of each automation project. A Project Scope can contain any of the following:
- Motor List
- I/O List
- Instrument List
- Motor Control and Switch Gear Specifications
- Automation Controls Specification
- Operation Sequence
- Performance Specification
- Engineers' Estimated Cost
Once completed, the Project Scope can be used for budgeting purposes or to acquire comparative bids.
